The first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final match between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou ended 2-1 in favour of Luis Enrique’s men.
Atletico Madrid were the first to score first in the 35 minute through Fernando Torres who was shown a second yellow card on the nite to leave his Atletico Madrid side at 10 men.
Luis Suares equalized for Barcelona in the 64 minute to bring the Catalans at level with their opponents who ironically kept pushing more men forward despite their numerical disadvantage.
Ten minutes later, Suarez was on hand to register the second goal for Barcelona which kept the dreams of the Blaugranas alive.
In another UEFA Champions Leg encounter, Arturo Vidal gave Bayern Munich victory over Benfica when he headed home Juan Bernat's cross in the German side's first attack of the game.
