The Baamu Yadda demonstration by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) which saw the participation of thousands of supporters and concerned Ghanaians has gone viral on Social media not because of the mammoth size of the protest but mainly due to the appearance of tens of head porters popularly known as 'Kayayei'.

The pictures have been described by political opponents as a photo-shopped - a claim which has not been well accepted by a larger section of the Ghanaian public especially those who partook of the protest.

The protest which has been described as generally peaceful was aimed at compelling  the EC to heed their call and embark on a validation of the register.
