A video showing a three-year-old Ghanaian boy buying marijuana for his father has provoked outrage on social media.
In the video aired on TV3, the boy, Kwaku, is seen holding a box of matches and a wrap of marijuana.
His father reportedly sends him to buy either marijuana or matches every morning while other children are going to school.
"My father sent me to buy the matches... he uses it to smoke wee," Kwaku can be heard saying in the video.
According to TV3's commentary on the video, Kwaku, who lives with his father and and his girlfriend, knows all the marijuana joints.
He is often the subject of abuse from his father, who beats him up regularly and refuses to give him food.
With the whereabouts of his biogical mother unknown, kwaku survives on the benevolence of neighbours, who feed him at least once a day.
