A journalist based in Guyana, Carinya Sharples, has said that Bajan singer Rihanna's latest music video appears to make a tribute to Ghanaian undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, who covers his face with beads.
She noticed the similarity when she was researching the singer's lyrics, the BBC reported today.
She said one of the dancers in the video for Rihanna's song called Work wore a covering very similar covering to Anas'.
Rihanna has yet to indicate whether it was a just a co-incidence.
Anas stunned the country late last year when he released a documentary which showed several top judges in the country receiving bribes.
