Jehu-Appiah Jonamoah Moses, the Gomoah East District Chief Executive (DCE) has demolished what he calls the growing number of billboards belonging to people in Awutu Senya East but have been erected in his jurisdiction, Gomoa East lands.
This has brought about tension in Kasoa (Odukpongkpehe) and its surrounding communities following the demolition of billboards belonging to the NPP MP for Awutu Senya East, Mavis Hawa Koomson by the Gomoa East DCE.
The campaign billboards of the MP which were said to have been erected on Gomoa East lands provoked the DCE who ordered for their removal.

Jehu-Appiah, a government appointee, is furious about the growing number of billboards belonging to people in Awutu Senya East which have been erected in Gomoah East and claimed that “people have been using such strategy to steal Gomoa East lands”.
Meanwhile, according to Kasapa News, the youth who are said to be supporters of Hawa Koomson, incensed by the action of the DCE stormed his office and chained his car to theirs upon entering the premises of the Assembly to prevent him from escaping from being questioned over his action.
