The Overlord of the Gbi Traditional Area in the Volta Region, Togbega Gabusu VI, has vehemently dismissed a Daily Mail story that was replicated by the Ghanaian media as well about an ‘Ewe King [Togbe Ngoryifia Cephas Kosi Bansah] that governs his people via Skype from Germany’.
According to the story, Bansah may be a 'king' in his country, but he works as a full-time mechanic in Germany and he governs his people over Skype.
But in a statement to rebut the Daily Mail story, Togbega Gabusu VI said the publication must be ignored because they were not true. He noted that Ngoryifia Cephas Kosi Bansah was only installed as a development chief under his (Togbega Gabusu VI,) authority.

The Gbi Overlord further mentioned that Gbi was not a monarch. He however, tasked Ghanaians to ignore these publications.
