The Ghana Police Service has asked members of the public to remain calm, following a prophecy by Nigeria's Prophet TB Joshua that terrorists will attack Ghana this month.
A statement issued in Accra on Monday and signed by police Director of Public Affairs, Cephas Arthur, said security agencies had put in place adequate measures to forestall any terrorist attacks or disturbances.

The police said all requisite operational strategies, including intelligence gathering and tactical deployment of personnel, had been unfolded to counter and repel any attempted attack on the country.
The police urged Ghanaians to tolerate any inconvenience measures taken to combat terrorism may cause, and contact the service to report suspicious activities on emergency lines: MTN and Vodafone Shortcode - 18555; and All Networks - 191 or 0302773906.
Prophet TB Joshua said during his Church’s Sunday service, which was beamed live on Emmanuel TV yesterday, that foreign terrorists would attack gatherings in Ghana and Nigeria between Thursdays and Saturdays sometime this month.
