Bishop Daniel Obinim arrived in Kumasi with a coffin on Tuesday to engage a voodoo priest, Okomfo Yaw Appiah, in a spiritual duel.
Obinim, supported by some of his pastors, sat at Jubilee Park waiting for Okomfo Yaw Appiah to show up.
Okomfo Yaw Appiah, had in several interviews in Accra, claimed to be the source of Bishop Obinim’s spiritual powers, and vowed to strip the pastor of the powers.
In response, Obinim challenged the voodoo priest to a spiritual duel at the Jubilee Park, which would see both men take turns to sleep in a coffin for 30 minutes.
The duel was supposed to have come off last week in the studios of Accra-based Happy FM, but Obinim did not show up to meet Okomfo Yaw.
A large number of people gathered at the park, waiting for the spiritual combat to begin.
However, it turned out to be a no-show as Okomfo Yaw failed to show up.
After waiting for sometime, Obinim eventually left the park with his supporters.
They waved white handkerchiefs in jubilation, claiming that the failure of the voodoo priest to show up made Obinim the automatic winner of the duel.
