NDC Campus Connect at UCC witness low turnout

Students of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) have failed to show up for the re-launch the Campus Connect programme of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) on the campus.

Reports from Starrfmonline indicate that at the commencement of the programme , the main auditorium of the University, where the programme was held, remained empty throughout the session, despite the presence of almost a dozen government appointees and party officials of the NDC.

NDC officials in the persons of Samuel Okudzeto-Ablakwa, Deputy Minister for Education, Fiifi Kwettey, Minister for Transport, Kweku Rickett-Hagan, Central Regional Minister, Dr. Victor Bampoe, Deputy Minister of Health.

The others are Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Deputy Minister for Transport, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Deputy Minister of Communications and Kobby Acheampong, CEO for GIFEC had been advertised to grace the occasion.

The programme which took place on Tuesday  was aimed at re-launching  the Campus Connect programme to ensure a strong student stronghold for the National Demoractic Party (NDC).
