NDC Klottye Korle meeting with Veep ends abruptly

Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur on Wednesday was ‘chased out’ of a meeting that seek to address the controversies and misunderstanding between incumbent MP, Nii Armah Ashietey and the NDC’s elected parliamentary candidate, Zanetor Rawlings in the Klottey Korle constituency.

According to a news report by Peacefmonline.com, NDC members of the Klottey Korle constituency boycotted the meeting with the Veep and the Greater Accra Regional executives of the party at the Globe Cinema in Adabraka.

The NDC members in the area are blaming the party’s leadership  for granting Zanetor Rawlings the mandate to contest in last November’s NDC parliamentary primaries when they knew she was unqualified.

The report further revealed that the party’s faithfuls trooped to the venue of the meeting amidst shouting and chants, forcing the Vice President, who was a special guest at the meeting and was billed to make a statement to abruptly abandon the meeting.
