Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, the founder of the Progressive People's Party (PPP), has said that President John Mahama's may be using taxpayers' money to finance his 'Accounting to the People' tour.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, Dr Nduom sought to know the sponsor of the president's tour of the ten regions.
He criticised the president for starring in an Electoral Commission advert and demanded to know who paid for it.
The PPP founder also questioned why government officials were using official vehicles and government fuel to follow the president on his tour.
Dr Nduom said there was a difference between official duties of a President, Ministers of State and DCEs and political campaign activities that should be private and self-funded.
He went on to question when the Electoral Commission would probe how political parties fund their campaigns.
