A 19-year-old candidate of the ongoing West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) Patience Gyamfuah Aseidu died when a vehicle hit her in Suhum in the Eastern Region on Monday.
The girl, a student of the Suhum Islamic Girls SHS in the Eastern region, died on the spot when a Kia minibus that was traveling from Nsawam to Suhum hit her at about 8pm, a report by Starrfmonline said.
She was said to have been crossing the Accra-Kumasi highway in front of her school when the accident occurred.

The Suhum police are said to have begun investigations into the incident.
