Tanbaare RC Primary School in the Wa West district of the Upper West region lacks a school building and depends on two makeshift structures built with thatched roof and a borrowed small room used as a church, according to a report by Multi TV.


The school was set up 10 years ago and has a pupil population of 70.
JHS one and two students use the two makeshift structures, while the borrowed church building is used by the JHS three students.

The makeshifts structures are now worn out and on the verge of collapsing, making students vulnerable to rain and sunshine - a situation that is adversely affecting learning.
