Meet the bride who wore a black gown for her wedding

Sophie Cachia, a blogger from Melbourne, Australia is reported to have broken the tradition of wearing white  gown for a jet black gown to marry her husband-to-be on her wedding day.

The 25-yr-old Sophie noted that she did not want anything traditional and that she wanted her wedding to be unique and different from others. She revealed that her decision is not for media attention but she has a love for black hence choosing for a black gown.

Daily Mail Australia reports that Sophie’s bridesmaids also wore black high necked dresses with long sleeves.  Instead of flowers, the ladies all carried green leaves while the bride’s bouquet was decorated with green leaves, pink and purple flowers.

Sophie told Daily Mail that she would wear black any day  and that shethinks it is a bold and striking colour and that her friends and family were not surprised she chose black, adding that she and her husband simply wanted to wear something they wanted to wear on their wedding day.

The bride’s dress was designed by Anthony Montesano from Signor Mont Couture and featured a fishtail bottom, low neckline and intricate beading.
