Leicester City forward, Riyad Mahrez has become the first African player to win the English football’s Player of the Year prize on Sunday.
The 25 year old also won the most valuable player in the Leicester City FC.

The Foxes are flying high at the top of the table, ahead of Tottenham, and will earn a fortune in next season's Champions League.
Before the Algerian collected the individual award on Sunday, he scored the opener in the 4-0 thumping of Swansea.
The club’s proud Thai owners even laid on helicopters for all the first-teamplayers to attend the event.
