Charles Vardis, a former defender of Accra Hearts of Oak has named Ali Maradona, a Kotoko Operations Manager of attempting to bribe him to play it ‘soft’ against Kotoko in 2005 in a league game.
This allegation comes ahead of the 10th week GPL Hearts versus Kotoko epic encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium on May 2.
The retired former Real Sportive defender fingured Ali Maradona via his Facebook page after a brief exchange of banter with a Ghanaian journalist.
"He has been to ma house when Real Sportive vs Kotoko at Tema and he told me he want to bribe me and I refused. Call him he should stop spoiling players talent."
