A student of the Tweneboah Kodua Senior High School in the Ashanti region is in critical condition after he was stabbed by his mate in a dormitory fight on Saturday.

Blood gushes out from the victim's arm

The unnamed student is said to be a candidate in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) exams, according to a report by adomonline.com.

The victim is said to have bled profusely after his roommate stabbed his arm with a knife and tore it apart.

The vein in his left arm was hit, causing blood to gush out, the report said.

Nurses are said to have struggled to contain the the victim's bleeding at the hospital.
