Six ‘macho men’ suspected to be members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), on Monday evening, reportedly stormed Kumasi-based Fox Fm while there was an ongoing studio discussion and subjected the host and other guests to severe beatings.

According to reports the NPP men were angered by allegations made by the NPP youth activist, against another member of the NPP in the region.

The  ‘macho men’ without provocation on the broke into the studios despite fierce resistance by the security of the station and subjected the panelists and host to the severe beatings resulting in injuries.

Producer of the political show, Ben Ansong who confirmed the attack revealed  to Kumasi based Ultimate FM that the injured have been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for medical attention.
