Ghana will host Rwanda in AFCON qualifier at new Cape Coast stadium

Sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has told reporters that the Black Stars will host Rwanda in their AFCON qualifier scheduled for Ghana in September at the newly constructed 18,000-seater Cape Coast stadium.

Nii Lante Vanderpuye revealed that he will have to consult the Ghana FA officials on the possibility of Ghana hosting Rwanda at the Cape Coast Stadium.

He said the players had complained of quality of the pitch the last time Ghana played Mozambique at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Black Stars who tops Group H defeated the Rwandans 1-0 in Kigali last year and will welcome them on September 2.
