President John Mahama and his NDC administration are on the verge of losing massively in the November polls in the Northern region, according to an aggrieved party official.

Constituency Organiser for Savelugu in the Northern Region Abdul Rauf Abubakar to Accra based Joy FM that the NDC’s leadership has lost touch with the grassroots of the party and this might affect the fortunes of the party in the coming elections.
He noted that even though the president in a son of the north he will experience the shock of his life if things do not change.
According to Abubakar, President Mahama has imposed DCEs on the people without any consultation of the constituency executives.

"The party [leadership] has no time for the party [grassroot]," he fumed.
Abubakar together with other NDC executives from the Savelugu constituency where in Accra on Monday to register their protest to the NDC Parliamentary caucus but Parliament had gone on recess.
