Emelia Asiedu, mother of the late Patience Asiedu of Suhum Islamic Girls Senior High School who was knocked down by a car leading to her death is blaming school authorities for her child's death.
Emelia Asiedu opines the negligence on the part of the school authorities for allowing her daughter to exit school late in the night is the reason for her death.
Emelia expressed pain at her loss in her interview with Adom FM and questioned how her daughter, the late Patience Asiedu, left school on that night without the knowledge of school authorities and security personnel in the school.
The late Patience Aseidu was said to be crossing the Accra-Kumasi Highway to meet her boyfriend to collect a mobile phone when a Kia Mini bus with registration number GR 4087-13 run into her and killed her on the spot.
The deceased, was reported to have left school to meet up with her boyfriend who had called her on a mate’s mobile phone at ‘prep’ to meet him by the road side to pick her new phone when the truck run into her.
The driver of the Kia truck, Yaw, who was driving from Nsawam to Suhum has since been arrested and is currently in the custody of the Suhum Police.
