Stephanie Linus has called out to women to make a difference in the world, irrespective of where they find themselves.
At a conference in the New York, Stephanie introduced the ‘Global Call To Action’ and encouraged all present to work towards making a difference and be voices in their countries.
Stephanie who doubles as the celebrity ambassador for NDI’s Stop VAWIE campaign in Nigeria pointed out at the conference that talking about making a difference and not working at it is unacceptable.
She added, more women in the world want to be voives in their countries but they need help, hence the need to identify such women and show them the way.
Stephanie Linus was a special guest at the ‘#NotTheCost: Stopping Violence Against Women In Politics’ Conference. The Global Call to Action to Stop Violence Against Women in Politics was organized by the National Democratic Institute (NDI).
The event was attended by the U.S. Secretary of State and NDI Chairman Madeleine K. Albright as well as Madame Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, women’s rights activist and wife of the Prime Minister of Canada.
