A South African pastor is reported to have raped and assaulted three women for eight hours while his wife looked on in his house at Carletonville.
The three women who spoke exclusive to Sowetan narrated how the gun-toting pastor took turns to rape them after assaulting them with a baton and a wire in his bedroom while his wife watched TV in the lounge.
The girls described how they were made to strip naked and raped at gunpoint while the pastor’s wife laughed at the rape scene when she was begged to ask her husband to stop the act.
During the ordeal, the pastor threatened to shoot them and murder their families should they attempt to flee.
Two of the girls are 17 and 18 years old and are members of the pastor's church in Wedela township in Carletonville, South Africa with the third victim, age 25 being a friend of the two teenagers.
The pastor and his wife been arrested by the police and facing three counts of rape and assault, two of kidnapping and one of pointing a firearm. The victims are receiving psychological help and police are preparing them for the court case.
The girls' parents said the pastor had promised to help the girls with their personal problems and give them jobs and spiritual guidance.
