Case of Zanetor Rawlings adjourned to May 3

An application filed by Dr Zanetor Rawlings challenging the capacity of an Accra High Court to hear a case concerning her candidature has been adjourned to May 3.

The Supreme Court which was to hear the case Tuesday did not assign any reason for the adjournment.

Lawyers for Dr. Zanetor Rawlings however believe the High Court cannot hear the matter as it is rather the Supreme Court who has the jurisdiction to hear the case.

Dr Rawlings is therefore seeking a restraining order to stop the trial judge from hearing the case at a High Court.
