Nana Addo consoles Ghanaian workers ahead of May Day

Flagbearer of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Danquah is calling has called on Ghanaian workers to stay committed to the development of Ghana despite recent economic challenges.

In a statement to congratulate workers ahead of the May Day celebrations, the former attorney general said “We, in the NPP, remain committed to the enhancement of the dignity of the Ghanaian labour force, by providing competent and progressive leadership that will bring about the transformation of our national economy, driven by Ghanaians for the good of Ghanaians.”

May Day is a public holiday meant to commemorate all workers across the world. In Ghana the holiday is marked with a match past, picnics and sports were as other countries celebrate the event based on their own traditional, socio-political beliefs.
