The 500-bed Kumasi Military Hospital is progressing steadily, the deputy minister for communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has said.
Mr Kwakye Ofosu posted on his Facebook page on Saturday that when completed, the hospital would boost healthcare delivery in the Ashanti Region and beyond.
The hospital is expected to have 105 housing units for staff, shops and 620-car park, among other amenities, upon completion.

The multi-million dollar project is located at Afari, a town between Kumasi and Nkawie.
It is situated on a 260,000 square metres of land and it will become the second military hospital in Ghana after the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
Work is scheduled to start in 2017.
