COP George Akuffo Dampare, the Greater Accra Regional Police command on Tuesday May 2, joined thousands of Ghanaians at the annual Citi Fm family consecration to pray for peace in the coming elections.
COP George Dampare lead the intercessory prayers to pray for all security agents who will partake in the elections.
He said that Ghana will be more peaceful than we find it today and after the elections. He encouraged all present to stay focus and do what is right in the sight of God and God will take care of the rest.
In a video on social media, COP Dampare led the congregation to pray for each and every stakeholder in the elections and that at the end of the day God will be glorified in the elections.
He indicated that by the prayers, Ghana will continue to enjoy peace during and after the elections.
Citi FM family consecration is an annual gathering of Christians where prayers are said for families, marriages, the fruit of the womb, renewal of marriage vows and prayers for Ghana.
