Ghana saved $77 million in revenue from 2014 till date from the activities of SIM BOX fraudsters via the efforts of a combined team made up of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police and Subah Infosolutions Ghana Limited.
According to Prosper K Agblorh, the Director General of the CID, the combined team had intensified their activities to arrest the masterminds behind the practice and has since arrested 30 agents and individuals involved in the practice of defrauding the state of such huge money through their shrewd sim box fraud practices.
The fraudsters are said to usually use sophisticated methodologies to evade detection but Subah Infosolutions Ghana, deployed more superior detection systems to flush out the criminals.

The state would have lost $77,379,000 million which would have gone into the pockets of the SIM BOX fraudsters.
