Former first lady and flagbearer of the National Democratic Party (NDP) Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has jabbed the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) for its lack of ideas o create jobs needed by Ghanaian youth.
According to Mrs. Rawlings, the economy is rather rolling back with businesses relocating out of the country as many more collapse due to high cost of doing business. She said she had received several calls from business owners in the country asking her to come to their rescue. Her assertion contradicts President Mahama’s recent claim that the economy has made a turnaround and attracting new businesses into the country.
The issue of unemployment remains one of the most talked of issues likely to gain much traction ahead of the November 7 general elections.
