President Mahama is currently inspecting progress of construction works on the new Kotokuraba Market project at Cape Coast.

The facility, which is expected to be completed in June 2016, will comprise shops, banks, hospitals and schools.

It will also have a car park, an office block, a parking lot, restaurants, a fire department, offices, a drainage system and walkways to ensure the free movement of traders and customers.

The Cape Coast Metropolitan Chief Executive, Mrs Priscilla Arhin Korankye, said report on the project for the third quarter of 2015 indicated that the project was 66 per cent complete.
