Manchester City goes into the second leg of the semi-final encounter of the UEFA Champion’s Leg game with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu tonight.
The first leg encounter at the Etihad Stadium a fortnight ago ended 0-0 and the stakes are high in the return encounter.
The two sides come into the game with conflicting fortunes; Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is fit to face City as the competition's all-time top scorer with 93 goals , having missed the first leg with a hamstring strain whilst City midfielder Yaya Toure is yet to recover from a thigh injury.
The English club is likely to miss midfielder Samir Nasri, forward David Silva and defender Pablo Zabaleta.
Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini told his players they had more to worry about than just Madrid forward, Ronaldo.
"Cristiano will always be a different player. He scores a lot of goals and has throughout his six years here," said the Chilean, who managed Real when the club signed Ronaldo.
He urged his team to work as a team to defend and attack well against Real Madrid.
