Kwesi Nyantekyi, the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has expressed his delight at the facilities available at the newly built Cape Coast stadium.
This was after he had taken a tour around the facilities at the newly constructed Cape Coast stadium on Tuesday following its official commissioning.
The 16,000 capacity stadium constructed by Chinese firm Jiang Xi International Corporation has other modern sports facilities such as a fully furnished 21 hostel room, a gym and a press centre among others.

With the outdoor done by President John Mahama, the facility is opened for the use of the general public and the GFA boss could not his delight at the prospect of the national teams assessing the stadium.
The GFA’s FA Cup committee has already chosen the venue for the 2016 MTN FA Cup final whist Sports Minister, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has hinted that the next 2017 AFCON qualifier between Ghana and Rwanda in September was likely to be honoured there.
