Nigerian stabbed to death in Accra over tooth brush

A Nigerian man was stabbed to death in Nungua, Accra, on Saturday during a brawl with his fellow Nigerian.

The two were fighting over a stolen tooth brush at Beach Drive road in Nungua, according to a report by starrfmonline.com.

Marvelous Okere, 26, and a trader living together in the same room with other occupants engaged the deceased, Sunday Orga, in an open fight over his stolen tooth brush on Saturday, the report said.

The Greater Accra regional police spokesperson, Afia Tenge, said in the course of the confrontation, Okere took a bottle, broke it and stabbed Orga in the left rib.

Orga, she said, bled profusely and later died at the LEKMA Hospital.

Okere reportedly told the police that he stabbed his colleague because he slapped him.
