Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe a board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, has urged the club fans to stay away from excessive criticism of goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama.
He said the Burkinabe national team goalkeeper was already being haunted by the horrible manner in which he conceded the goal against arch rivals, Asante Kotoko at the Accra Stadium last Monday in the 10 week GPL and that any further criticism would aggravate his already demoralised state.
Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe, told the Graphic Sports after the big game that the howler would serve as a learning curve for the team in their subsequent matches.
Many Phobian hearts were heartbroken after Soulama’s poor clearance from defender Richard Akrofi rolled into his own net.
The club’s misery was aggravated when the goalie was later red-carded by referee Awal Mohammed for a professional foul on Kotoko’s dangerman, Dauda Mohammed who was heading for a second goal.
