Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has thrown a challenge to the various flag bearers of all political parties for a golf match as part of efforts to ease the political temperature ahead of the the November 7 elections.
Otumfuo has revealed during the 59th edition of the MTN Asantehene royal gold club tournament for the year 2016 that playing a game among themselves will send the right signal to their followers and also will make them see themselves as team players working for mother Ghana rather than rivals.
" I am inviting all presidential candidates to join me for a weekend of gulf for peace and national unity in 2016. They will not play in their party groups but they will be mixed together for a weekend of pure gulf,”he stated.
