Angwubutoge Awuni, the late Eastern Regional Police Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP), has been buried in Accra.
In a solemn and a painful ceremony, Florence Awuni in her tribute to her husband described him as a courageous man who fought like a lion.
Florence Awuni said his husband fought like a lion till his demise and she will remember him for being a disciplinarian.
She spoke of how the swiftness of his departure still remains a mystery to her and the family and how he will be sorely missed by all.
Florence met Angwubutoge some thirty years ago at Sefwi Wiaso on official duty. She describe the late responsible, a caring and forgiving father to the family.
The late Angwubutoge had been heading the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service before he was recently transferred to the Eastern Region as Regional Police Commander.
He died at the Police Hospital in Accra after a short illness in March.
