The Metropolitan Archbishop of Tamale Most Rev. Philip Naamie has advised congregants of the Catholic church not to go to TB Joshua for spiritual assistance in Nigeria.
"Every Catholic Bishop here, indeed every priest who pursue relentlessly and who converses daily with God effectively, I can bet you have more power than TB Joshua.

"Whatever your worries are, go to them if they are saintly living priests, they can exorcise you from whatever devils that are invading you and they will be afraid of him and come out of you and you will be free,” Most Rev. Philip Naamie said at the ordination of a bishop for the Wa diocese.
Many Ghanaians travel to Nigeria from time to time to seek spiritual assistance from the founder and leader of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) although the church has branches in Ghana.
