Popular Kumawood actor, Alexander Kofi Adu, known as Agya Koo, has claimed that some of his fellow actors conspired to kill him spiritually because they could not compete with him.
He told Accra-based Atinka FM that they contracted a fetish priest to spiritually transform him into a cow and bury it alive.

Agya Koo said as part of the use of black magic in the industry, some producers bury posters of movies from other producers in order to spiritually prevent people from patronising those movies.
The talented actor said suspicion was so rife in Kumawood that actors and actresses neither ate nor drank water when on set.
Agya Koo has appeared in over 90 Ghanaian movies, including Obaatanpa, Black Star and Ma Trick Wo.
He was discovered on a Ghanaian comedy show on GTV (Ghana National Television) at the National Theater in Accra, where he worked as a comedian warming up the crowd.
In July 2008, he was awarded a National Award by then-Ghanaian President John Agyekum Kufuor.
Agya Koo hails from the Ashanti Region of Ghana and once worked as a shoemaker.
