UG sued by Director for withholding his salaries

Daniel Otabo Ahene-Amanquanor, a deputy Director at the Physical Development and Municipal Services Directorate (PDMSD) of The University of Ghana, Legon has sued the University for re-assigning him and withholding his salaries for over 19 months.

Amanquanor had contended his transfer to the College of Health Sciences in Korle-Bu, was a form of demotion by the university and had therefore gone to the High Court, (Labour Division) to seek a declaration.

Maame Ama Hany, lead counsel for the plaintiff is also asking the court to restrain the University's Management, Vice Chancellor, officials, agents, servants, privies from reassigning his client from his role as Deputy Director of the PDMSD.
