Mahama in London for Anti-Corruption summit

President Mahama is in London ahead of the Anti-Corruption Summit organised by the UK Government.

President Mahama said before leaving Accra that “the London Summit provides an opportunity to demonstrate once again the measures we have been adopting to strengthen our fight against corruption, combat money laundering and counter the financing of terrorism."

While in London, President Mahama will meet with his Co-Chair of the UN Eminent Persons Group on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and host an ‘Accounting to the People’ Forum for Ghanaians living in the UK on Friday, a statement from the Flagstaff House said.

The president's absence thus leaves Vice President Amissah Arthur as Ghana's leader.
