Are best friends fake? The shocking study reveals the truth

A study carried out by one University involved over 600 students. These young people easily make connections and new friends. They were asked to rate people in their lives and the level of affection and regard those have for them. The results were rather stunning!

Over 95 percent of all the young folks overestimated the level of affection others have for them. People they called friends cared nothing at all in return. They did not have the same level of affection and consequently, would not return the commitment. That is why when trouble happens, people get fewer friends around than they ever imagined.

Are best friends fake? The shocking study reveals the truth

The truth is we tend to overestimate our influence on others and the affection we evoke in them. Once we like someone and call them a friend that does not mean the other person feels the same way about us. Thus, you should not relate to folks based on your sentiments. The feeling may not be reciprocal! Next time you get in trouble, think twice who to ask for help and stop wondering why you get so many “NOs” in return. This knowledge may help you to have a more realistic view of life and of people around you.
