Actor Jussie Smollett says goodbye to Empire TV show

One of the lead actors of the prime time Empire series, Jussie Smollett has exited the show.

Reports suggest that the gay actor had complained over a lack of raise in his pay unlike the other star actors Terrence Howard and Taraji Henson.

“Terrence [Howard] and Taraji [Henson] are the stars of the show, and they are going to be paid paid as stars. But the rest, aren’t going to make huge sums from the show,” an insider had earlier reported.

But on his twitter page, the Jussie Smollet who is best known for his gay role as Jamal Lyon stated;

Earlier,  Taraji ad Terrence Howard threatened to exit Empire when they didn’t get a raise but FOX managed to get Taraji and Terrence to return.

“The contracts were set, so there was nothing that FOX could do to give [Terrence and Taraji] more money. So instead, they did all those one off specials that [the two stars] hosted, and got them paid that way,” MTOnews stated.
