Blakk Rasta, a former radio presenter with Joy FM, has welcomed the call by Ghana Police for the legalization of ‘Wee’ in the country.
He noted that the call for the legalization by the police is a step in the right direction and hence awaiting parliament’s decision on the issue.
Blakk Rasta who has been an advocate of legalising cannabis in the country said Ghana would see a speedy growth should the narcotic substance be finally legalized.
In an interview on Onua FM, Blakk Rasta hinted that he has never used cannabis before but might be tempted to do that once, it is legalized.
David Selom Hukportie ,the head of the Drug Law Enforcement Unit of the Police Service argued for the cannabis to be decriminalized in a bid to win the fight against the narcotic drug last week. This initiative has also been supported by Kofi Annan, the former UN secretary General.
