Ghana has been ranked fifth most democratic country in Africa at the anti-corruption summit in London.

President John Dramani Mahama who is currently at the summit has expressed joy over the recent ranking which also saw Ghana move up to 15 places in the 2015 prestigious democracy index. The president on his Facebook post expressed how elated his administration is over the recent ranking promising that more efforts will be put in place to ensure that democracy thrives in Ghana.
The first ever global anti-corruption summit in London saw an unusual collection of governments from the developed and developing countries which emphasized what the host British prime minister had to say that corruption was a bane the world needed to get rid of.
