Award-winning Ghanaian actor John Dumelo is expected to join president John Dramani Mahama in London during an interaction with the Ghanaian diaspora by the president at the Jumeriah Hotel.
The joining of president Mahama by the famous actor follows his popularity as one of Africa's most celebrated movie icons who has more than five million social media fans to his credit. Reports indicate that he will take the opportunity to relate to the Ghanaians diaspora over the development project by the NDC administration over the past four years.
Earlier before his visit, the the movie icon who also is Ghana's tourism ambassador visited kids of Muramura D/a school in the Asante Akim South District of the Ashanti region where he donated items to them just to aid in their learning activities.
President Mahama's trip to London attracted much debate in Ghana following comments made that he had never accepted a bribe as president. His comment which was made to the BBC was on the sideline of the just ended anti-corruption summit in London hosted by the UK prime minister, David Cameron.
