Jerry Avernogbor, defence Ccunsel for singer Wisa Greid has explained to an Accra Circuit Court that the the accused was unable to appear in court due to his ill health.
Jerry Avernorgbor further explained that the mother of the accused him of the ill health of the accused. He therefore prayed the court presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku for an adjournment.
The court obliged to the request of the defence counsel and adjourned the matter to May 23.
Wisa who is known in private life as Eugene Ashe is being held for allegedly exposing his penis while performing at the Accra International Conference Centre on December 24, last year.
He has, however, denied a charge of gross indecent exposure and is on a GHC 8,000 bail with one surety.
Wisa is known in the music industry for his hit song “Ekiki mi”.
