An Accra magistrate court on Wednesday witnessed an interesting scenario when the second accused person in the JB Danquah Adu murder trial, Vincent Bosso was found to have stolen money from the police.
The incident which took place while the court was on recess, came to light when investigators in the case searched the pockets of Bosso. A GHC 20 note was found rapped in a white paper in his pocket.
The money according to the police officers was last seen on the counter of the charge office of the police station.
When questioned, Vincent Bosso denied taking the money, claiming it was given to him by another police officer.

Meanwhile, the state today dropped the charges of conspiracy to commit murder brought against Vincent Bosso during his first appearance in court and have replaced it with murder.
According to the prosecution further investigations into the matter have revealed the second accused assisted Daniel Asiedu during the murder but fled when he sensed danger.
The two are standing trial for allegedly killing the late New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu at his East Legon residence.
