The Ghana Grid company GRIDco is beginning a load management program today, May 18 in Accra.
The company reveals that about 300 megawatts will be shed in Accra and its environs until one of its faulty plants located at Mallam is fixed.
READ ALSO: Sex video of policewoman leaks in Sunyani“Following the putting off of Mallam bsp by Gridco this morning at 08:16hrs and the customers being off up till this time, ST2 instructed control to drop some load at the Achimota bsp and the 3rd bsp (Bulk Supply Point) to the tune of 120MW so that Mallam load could be restored," excerpts of the statement revealed.

The good news by GRIDCO follows the complete stabilization of erratic power supply across the country since December 24 – an intervention which is said to have been engineered by the emergence of the power barges and other power plants.
