Former general secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Sir John, has claimed that under the John Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, corruption has “become a designed dress that NDC members wear daily”.
Stressing that the administration had failed to make life better for Ghanaians, he said it was clear that it would lose power to the NPP in planned November elections.
Sir John told United Television (UTV) that the NDC had realised this and was going about making false claims about it achievements in order to hoodwink the public into giving it another term.
He added that the Mahama administration was storing up and wasting resources belonging to the state.
He said the cost of developments projects were being inflated to thrice their actual cost by the government.
