Teenage movie star, Abraham Attah, has paid a courtesy call on the US ambassador to Ghana, Robert Jackson, as part of efforts to solicit support for the Abraham Attah Ghana Summit.
The summit is a peace project centred on youth motivation and peace building ahead of planned November elections.
Earlier on Tuesday, Attah, who shot to fame after starring in Netflix produced ‘Beasts of No Nation’, met the UK High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, to seek support for the summit.
“My role as a child soldier in Beast of No Nation gave me a picture of a conflict zone. I got scared after watching the full movie and that has encouraged me to embark on the Peace and Youth focus agenda,” he was quoted as telling Mr Benjamin.
Attah also met the CEO of the EIB Network, Kwabena Anokye Adisi aka Bola Ray, for the same purpose.
“My big brother Bola Ray (CEO of EIB Network) shows love and support for my upcoming project.... Thank you big bro... I am most grateful,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
